Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring accurate purchase order management, capacity planning, and timely response to new business opportunities. The Sales Coordinator will also play a critical role in compliance reporting, audit support, and documentation management. This position requires up to 10% travel to customer locations and company facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Act as primary system customer interface for GM, Stellantis, Tesla, Honda, and other OEM/Tier 1 accounts.
- Manage purchase orders, capacity planning, engineering changes, and service parts administration.
- Support new business RFQs including quote tracking, cost breakdowns, and tooling documentation.
- Administer compliance reporting (Ecovadis, CDP, AIAG, Resil Inc.) and support IATF audits.
- Maintain customer portals and ensure timely updates across multiple systems (Covisint, E-Supplier Connect, Tesla Direct, Honda eDICS, etc.).
- Coordinate tooling documentation and work with Finance to ensure accurate payment release.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales coordination, customer service, or automotive supply chain preferred, especially OEM (GM, Stellantis a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent people skills as this role has a high visibility in the organization.
- Familiarity with OEM portals and compliance reporting systems is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Excel skills required.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
